Abundant Life Assembly of God is a church in Cupertino, California that watched rising energy costs steadily absorb more church funds year after year. The church decided to take action and reduce its energy costs by turning to solar power.

Delivering a sustainable alternative

With a large building and year-round sunshine, church board members recognized solar power could reduce, if not eliminate, their electricity costs so that they can focus finances on church programs – not electricity bills.

The panels generate 105,059 kWh annually, enough energy to power 15 homes. In addition, this clean energy helps offset 79 tons of CO2 each year, equivalent to the planting of 318 trees.
